My proposal for my podcast topic was accepted today! (Where’s the random kid in the back of the class when you need a drumroll?) My podcast will be on:
Not bigfoot. Sorry, bigfoot.
Join me as I interview some of the most well-known researchers who have spent countless hours trekking after bigfoot. My goal is to get at what’s behind the obsession, not try to prove whether or not there is something else living in the woods across America. There are already podcasts that collect information about sightings and whatnot, but through this journey, we’ll learn about what drives the people who are out trying to find evidence to drag this thing to mainstream science’s front door.
In addition to Cliff Barackman from Finding Bigfoot and Dr. Jeff Meldrum from countless documentaries, I’m going to interview a few local researchers, such as Marc DeWerth from the Ohio Bigfoot Association. This isn’t to make fun of their beliefs but to learn about their motivations and hear their stories. If you or someone you know has dedicated time to trying to find bigfoot, please feel free to message me using the form below. I’d love to have you on the show next semester.
